Well we have finally received our GCCF prefix!!! RAGGIESTARS!! Okay it wasnt our first choice of Riverndale but we are still thrilled to be GCCF registered breeders and conform to their code of ethics.
Belle is in full bloom and we are very excited about the arrival of her first babies towards the end of this month. We will update the site with any news as soon as we can.
Belle has been to stay with Dillion at Rosyposy Ragdolls and we are pleased to say that we are expecting some gorgeous little babies from her towards the end of September.
I have to say a huge thank you to Christine and Denise for looking after my princess. It was hard for me to take Belle to stud but I want to have blue mitted babies from her which I cant get from putting her with George. It was such a comfort to know she was with people who would look after hard so well and spoil her like she gets at home.

Belle was totally smiiten with Arthur when she first arrived and was spending hours looking longingly over to Arthur next door (who would have loved to have made her dreams come true I'm sure :p ) but Dillion as we knew he would, won her over in no time and soon they were both totally loved up and even sleeping together. Inseperatable they were that I felt guilty bringing her home - except that I had missed her terribley.
Summertime and the showing, breeding season is in full swing. This month we had our club show which was amazing. A huge thank you to Brian and Ann Ashworth and all the committee as the show was excellant and I loved every minute of it. Especially as I got to try my hand at stewarding for the first time which I have wanted to do for a while now. And this was the best show for me to learn so much about what to look for in show ragdolls as this was all raggies (except the household pets - but my judge wasnt doing those). I was stewarding for a wonderful judge, Celia De Martino who I must thank for such a wonderful experience and taking me under her wing and all the other judges who took the time to explain what they all look for and their interpretations of the standard of points. I really hope to be able to steward again in the near future.
Belle has gone to stud which is killing me as I miss her so much but I know she is good hands and is being as spoilt as she is here.
We took a family day out to Drayton Manor which was loads of fun with the kids but as always no matter where I go I always make friends with the locals.....
This cat was the most unusal colour I have ever seen - I wouldnt have said cream as she had more of pink hint to her coat so to me she will always be the Pink lady. Anyway lunchtime picnic and theres me cuddling this girl and feeding her some of my chicken from my sandwiches, the kids playing in the park and Pink fast asleep in my arms. We then decide to move on to see the rest of the park and zoo and we noticed the signs
"Please do not pick up the white cat, she may bite or scratch."
Hmm, well if I could have taken her home I would have because she was lovely.
Then we go into the zoo and I make friends with my two loves before I was introduced to Raggies....

So you see, even on a day out - I'll still surround myself with feline company, truely the best company there is.
Thanks to Christine at Rosyposy Ragdolls, we will be rehoming Emerisle George Onyarock as our new stud boy. George will be joining us to live in his Playcat Mansion which we have built for him in our garden.

We are so grateful to Christine for agreeing to let George come to live with us. You are a star

George has sired some beautiful big blue eyed babies and we are so looking forward to having our own bundles of fluff from him.
George will be at invitation stud only to tested girls on selected lines.
Also, Belle will be going to Christine's stud boy Dillion later in the year as well. All being well we shall have some beautiful blue colourpoint and mitted babes at the end of the year as well. You can see more information about Dillion on Rosyposy website which is on our links page.
George has settled in so well in his house and we have introduced him to his new lifelong partner - Narnia! A match made in heaven, they adore each other which is brilliant.
I did feel really guilty putting Narnia outside but she really doesnt mind. Nothing bothers this girl - she truely is amazing - her temperment is to die for - we've brought her back in the house and she is fine as well. She doesnt care where she is so long as there is lots of fuss and cuddles, food to eat, toys and someone to play with, a warm place with someone to snuggle upto and George is such a snuggle bum - he adores snuggle time with Narnia
