I am totally hooked on attending Cat shows. They are a great place to meet like minded people. Its a fab day out that the whole family enjoys.

To follow are results from shows we have entered.
Just had a show report in for Belle in relation to her first show at Chepstow.
Judge Mr Gillson - who I must say a big thank you for taking the time and giving me his advice on Belle as always Mr Gillison you are a star!
Maiden Adult Class
2nd Place - A nicely shown young lady who was not in the best of moods today, perhaps the heat was getting to her. Her silky coat showed nice length, the pale colouring on her body, off setting the blue of her mask and points. A flat plane to her forehead, nicely shaped blue eyes and good cheeks and muzzle.

Show Reports
We have had some show reports in.

Seal point ragdoll with deep seal mask, points and tail but today his coat was quite short and dark.
Wiltshire and District Show
Today we entered Belle into the Wiltshire and District's 10th Anniversary Cat Show and we had a lovely day.
This is the biggest show I've been to so far but it was full of wonderful people and it was so nice seeing all the gorgeous cats.
Unfortunately I forgot my camera (silly me) so no pictures of this show which is a real shame so you'll have to make do with a picture taken at the Celtic show by the photographer, Robert Fox. Belle did well getting 3rd in her Open Class although she was back in season again and just wanted to spend all day making love to her tail! She really is a character.

We are going to give Belle a break now so she can have some kittens which she seems desperate for but we are hoping to get her back out on the show bench next year.So now we look forward to showing our new little girl and of course waiting on those all important show reports to come in.
Celtic Cat Show - Chepstow - June 21st 2008
Belle's 1st show - and she did really well!

Side Classes
1st Place - Debutante Adult (class of four)
2nd Place - Maiden Adult (class of five)
2nd Place - Novice Adult (class of five)
3rd Place - Adolescent Adult (class of 11)

I'm so proud of her. The Celtic Show is always a lovely show and this year was no different. Belle was a little grumpy and unsure although you wouldnt think so now she is home.

Well done to all the other entries - it was a wonderful day :)
Bristol & District Cat Club
This was Wicket's first show in the Adult Neuter Class. It's been a while since he was last at a show but he behavioured beautifully and throughly enjoyed all the attention.
Here are his results.
Open Class - 3rd out of 4
Semi Longhaired Neuter Not Bred By Exhibitor (Male) - 2nd out of 8!!
Debutante Neuter - 2nd out of 3
Maiden Neuter - 1st he was the only one entered - bless him
Adolescent Neuter - 3rd out of 6
Junior Neuter - 3rd out of 8!

Despite Wicket having a wonderful day - we have decided to give him a break from shows until the end of the year as to allow him to mature as he is now in the Adult Classes and we feel he is still very much a baby.

Well done Wicket, you are a star!

We entered Wicket into his first show at the West of England & South Wales Cat Society Show.
Wicket loved every moment of all the attention and was totally at ease. Here are his results.
Open Class - 3rd out of 4
